Degustation Point

Degustation Point is a series of fixed folding seats linked to a metal structure next to the granite wall. It allows dialogue with people and the surroundings without disturbing pedestrian mobility. A simple mechanical device, triggered by the hand or by a foot pedal will lower the seat and a timer system return it to its original position when no longer required. An information board will include information in Portuguese\English and braille together with a tactile map giving directions to places of interest. This system of punctuated resting points, can easily be adapted to different contexts, cities and users.
