The Jupi by Upi' Portfolio
Jupi by Upi is a new brand of textile and graphic products created by Croatian and British designers and makers as part of the Extra / Ordinary Design Zagreb project. It showcases the unique art and craft skills of the members of the Promotion of Inclusion (UPI) work center and makes their work available as designer goods. Jupi by Upi products range from cards, calendars and art prints to clothing, toys and fashion accessories, all made from eco-friendly materials.
'Jupi Zoo' Toys
Meet Victor Ziraha and his friends. Jupi Zoo brings to life the creatures and plants that inhabit the mind of graphic artist Ratko Koletic. Each cuddly toy has its own personality and is hand-made in the UPI work center.
'Jupi Fruit' Accessories
Helena Kaurloto is passionate about fruit. She draws plums and water melons, cherries and bananas using free, energetic mark-making. We have turned her images into a range of textile brooches, each one unique. You can also find Helena's artwork on printed goods and accessories, as well as for download in the online art bank.
'Domestic Goddess' Apron Dress
Fashion and textiles designer Ivana Culjac has created a contemporary dress that looks just as sophisticated and elegant at home as it does on a night out. The tailored wrap dress doubles as an apron and is available in a range of hand-printed fabrics.
Bags and Mobile Phone Covers
Jupi by Upi collaborated with designers Ivana Culjac and Natasa Perkovic to create a range of bags, from smart-casual laptop bags with hidden compartments to simple sleeves for mobile phones and PDAs.
Fabric and Wallpaper Patterns
You can decorate your home with wallpaper and textiles printed with some modern designs by Ratko Koletic, Helena Kaurloto and the other artists of the UPI work center. Patterns range from airy and abstract to bold and figurative and create inspiring interiors.
Jupi by Upi printed goods
Jupi by Upi designs are available as greeting cards, posters, book covers and gift wrap. The items are printed on recycled paper, and, in the case of museum quality giclee prints, on archival quality paper.
