Gregor Timlin
Gregor Timlin - BA (DIT) Dublin and MA (RCA) London - is a Senior Associate at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design and lectures on design fundamentals at the Dublin Institute of Technology. His research concerns ageing, population change and the rise in late onset dementia in world populations. He is currently working to map user needs for people in all stages of dementia so that care home design and services can be better targeted to maintaining user ability and improving quality of life.
Gregor has a background in industrial design and applied design research. He practices as a freelance designer with Propwork, a design collective based in Somerset House and has worked for numerous clients including the Design Museum, WIL, the Barbican and the V&A.
