Catherine started at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design as Research Associate working on EPSRC/AHRC funded project Welcoming Workplace. Since then her interest in workplace design and design research has led her to work on a variety of academic and commercially partnered projects ranging from those looking at new ways of working to others focusing on Inclusive Design. In her current role as Senior Associate Catherine plays a lead role in the Work and City Lab. This year she is working with Research in Motion, looking at how culturally diverse communities communicate in London, and with Johnson Controls investigating how workplaces and workstyles can become more sustainable.
