The issue

Shopping is a vital social and sensory experience but carrying shopping home poses great problems to many because they lack transport, loads are too heavy, or because they are too busy to do it themselves. The scenarios are wide ranging and affect consumers of all kinds.

The design solution

Hands On Demand is a user-centred and flexible delivery service which allows you to shop and ensures the delivery of the goods at home when it best fits your schedule. A key element of the service is human interaction and individual service.  Your purchases are delivered by someone you choose and trust. The service can be booked in advance online at home or when you are away or on the day at the shop and paid together with the shopping.
